And Carl's parents were here during Carl's annual company picnic. They rented out the local Fun Zone (yes, that's really what it's called) and had train rides, bounce houses/slides, mini golf, batting cage, and go karts available for all the employees and their families. They also gave away a handful of flat screen LCD tv's. We didn't win.
Below you will see why they don't let 4 year olds (or 2 year olds for that matter) drive much to Connor's dismay. Note the head placement.
We read stories (well, Grandma read to us), got haircuts, made homemade Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, played at the park, had family home evening which included throwing plastic fish into the felt shark (and bucket) Grandma made, and relished in the awesomeness of the new kids' table now located inside the house.
