Followed by the birthday festivities...
Conference on Saturday was followed by the arrival of my sister Allison and my Mom for a visit. We celebrated Ally's final departure from adolescence with a yummy pasta dinner (not pictured) and a mediocre apple pie (apple pie is better with fuji's). Fresh out of candles, Carl improvised and used q-tips dipped in nail polish remover taped to toothpicks. It's fun to see Allison all grown up, she's so pretty. Looks like a great apple pie--I've never tried doing one wih fuji's--I always use granny smiths, maybe I'll have to try something new! And awesome that you've got Connor doing dishes...maybe he can teach my 7 year old a thing or two!:)
I'm impressed with Carl's candle ingenuity. So clever. A little gross. But awesome nonetheless. :)
