You know, sometimes I feel like a terrible mom when I blog stalk the rest of you and see pictures of your toddlers romping about in pumpkin patches and covered with pumpkin seeds when carving for Halloween. We do not have such pictures posted not because I am lazy, but because we didn't go. I have deprived my 1 year old of a proper Halloween! In a rueful determination to never let a holiday go by without truly celebrating again, Connor and I have set out to make Thanksgiving a breathtaking feast. My biggest concern however was creating the feast while chasing my 1 year old from off the top of the couch to off the kitchen table to off the desk and somehow keeping him entertained so I could occupy the kitchen and get my duties done. And then I discovered the beauty of holidays for kids. Connor is LOVING every minute of "helping" with our feast. All we needed was a chair and a floured bowl near the sink and Connor was happy for hours! Yay for holidays!

It looks like you are making rolls. Would there be cranberry sauce to go along with that? :)
