Dig a hole, fill it up?

For a while there I seemed to have some sort of last burst of energy so while the weather was gorgeous, the boys and I decided to weed out and prep the garden boxes and actually plant something this year.  It took all of five seconds for Connor to decide he really needed the big shovel because he was going to "dig a hole to catch a fox."  I tried to explain that it didn't matter how deep the hole was, he could dig all 8 inches to the ground, but if a fox got in, it would easily jump out.  Connor either didn't believe me, didn't care, or was using the "fox" as a cover for his brother, because he had Tyler lay down in the hole several times to make sure it was the right size.
To reassure the concerned grandparents, let me just say that Connor also tried out the hole a few times himself and it was actually Tyler threatening to fill in the rest with dirt. ;)  Oh, how I love these boys! :)
