Success!

These are a few pictures from the baby shower I threw this weekend for a friend. A big thanks to my mom who helped out a TON the morning of and to all the other people who had to listen to all my ideas, conversations which typically started, "So...hypothetically speaking, let's say you were putting on a baby shower and were trying to come up with a menu..."

This is how it all turned out. I couldn't have been more delighted and I really had so much fun doing it.
The baby's room will be decorated in jungle/safari decor...this is my attempt at matching a diaper cake to the nursery theme.

Finished menu: Croissants with chicken salad, spinach salad with poppyseed dressing, fresh fruit, cupcakes, and raspberry limeade-type drinks.
